Quran Competition

We have an annual Quran competition which is an organized event where participants showcase their knowledge, understanding, and recitation skills of the Quran. These competitions are held at our school with the Quran to encourage its memorization and proper recitation.

Features of our Quran Competition:

1. Categories:

• • Recitation (Tajweed): Participants are judged on their ability to recite the Quran with correct pronunciation, rhythm, and adherence to the rules of Tajweed.

  • Memorization (Hifz): Participants demonstrate their ability to recall and recite the Quran from memory. The competition may involve specific portions (e.g., Juz’ Amma).

2. Age Groups: Competitions are divided into different levels to ensure fairness.

3. Levels: Events can range from beginner to advanced, based on the participant's familiarity with the Quran.

4. Judging Criteria:

  • Adherence to Tajweed rules.

  • Accuracy in memorization.

  • Voice and tone quality.

5. Prizes: Winners may receive awards such as trophies, certificates, monetary prizes, or religious gifts (e.g., copies of the Quran or Islamic literature).
